… another cult book for fans in America ...

Tom Bianchi was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago. He graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 1970 and became a corporate lawyer. Finally, he worked for Columbia Pictures in New York. He painted and drew on weekends until Betty Parsons and Carol Dreyfuss became aware of him. They gave him his first solo exhibition at the Parson/Dreyfus Gallery in New York in 1980. In 1991 he published his first photo book entitled "Out of the Studio". This photo book is a vivid and sincere representation of gay intimacy. His huge success with this book led to the production of numerous other monographs, including On the Couch, Deep Sex and In Defense of Beauty.om. Bianchi’s nudity books offer insights into gay scenes in the USA and were all bestsellers. The books published later also include Tom's texts on the philosophy of aesthetics, eroticism in art, and socio-political topics.
